What type of products can I ship via Ship-Pal?


Products like clothes, electronics, cosmetics, books etc can easily be shipped via Ship-Pal, also some food items with a longer shelf life can be delivered. However products such as counterfeit goods, firearms, chemicals, illegal drugs, weapons, knives etc are not allowed.




What happens after I create an order?


Once the request for the order is received, Ship-Pal will notify all travellers who are capable of delivering your product. However the traveller needs to accept your request and confirm on an incentive amount before it can be confirmed that your product will be delivered to you.




How do I pay incentive to traveller?


Ship-Pal currently do not charge any fees neither it supports any kind of online payment. We are just connecting travellers and shopper via our platform. Shopper and traveller can mutually agree via Ship-Pal private chat how payment can be done. It could be via mobile pay, google pay or direct bank transaction.




Why cant I get my goods in their original packaging?


All goods carried by the traveller must be thoroughly inspected and checked by the traveller before carrying in their luggage due to obvious safety concerns and so the traveller is free to inspect the contents of the package.




During Covid-19 how can I use Ship-Pal?


We suggest to follow the Covid-19 guidelines by keeping safe distance and wearing a mask when meeting. Also to be more safe, sending the package via postal service is another option.




What if my traveller stops responding? or doesn’t show up?


If the traveller stops responding for over 48 hours or does not show up for delivery, please contact Ship-Pal and we will try to resolve the issue.




How do I communicate with my traveller?


Once a traveller confirms your request, ship pal will connect you both with a private chat from ship-pal platform where you can discuss more.




Why cant I handover my product to the Traveler ?


To enure that the goods/package carried by the travelere is untampered and safe to carry, Ship-Pal does not allow goods to be handed over to Travelers. The only exception is when there are documents to be handed over to the Traveler




Can I order medicines via Ship-Pal?


Medicines cannot be brought by anyone else other than the person they are prescribed for and hence Ship-Pal will not have Travelers get medicines for Shoppers.




Why do I pay an incentive to the Traveler?


An incentive is paid to the traveler for his troubles to get the product to you. It also encourages the Traveler to want to get the product for the Shopper.




What are Ship-Pal Premium Shopper?


A Premium Shopper will get their orders processed sooner than other shoppers. When a Premium Shopper places a request for a product, Ship-Pal will try to match this request to a Traveler on priority.




How do I become a Ship-Pal Premium Shopper?


Users who shop frequently with Ship-Pal are entitled to become Premium Shoppers on Ship-Pal.




What are the fees charged by Ship-Pal ?


At the moment we do not charge any fees for the service we provide.




How long can it take to get my product?


After placing a shopping request, Ship-Pal will try to match this with a traveler and notify you about when a traveler would be traveling and when he travel to the country. Matching to travelers could take from a couple of days to a week, depending on the number of travelers travelling and also the location/country the product is required from.




How do I order with Ship-Pal?


From the ship-pal.net homepage, you can click on Shopper -> Create Order, this will open up a page where you can enter product details and fill in the necessary information requested. You can also visit https://www.ship-pal.net/shopper to create orders.




Do I need to pay customs ?


As a shopper, you are responsible for the payment of customs. Since the shopper is the one for who the product is got into the country and so if the traveler pays customs for the product, then that amount will have to be paid to the traveler by the shopper.




How do I find a traveler who will fulfil my order?


Shoppers need not worry about finding suitable travelers, since Ship-Pal will so that for you.
Once an order is placed, Ship-Pal will find the best suitable traveler to fufil your order and connect you to them ASA{, from where you can continue further discussions with the traveler.




How do I delete my account from Ship-Pal?


We would hate to see you go but to delete your account from Ship-Pal you may contact is via the Contact Us form and inform us that you wish for your account to be deleted and we will handle the rest for you.




Can I cancel my order placed on Ship-Pal?


Shoppers cannot cancel orders if they have been accepted by the traveler or after the traveler has brought the product to the country. However if the shopper wishes to cancel an order even after matched with a traveler and it has been agreed by the traveler as well, then that order can be cancelled. Orders which have not been assigned to travelers can be canceled by contacting us.




Does Ship-Pal offer any insurace on my product if it is not delivered by the traveler?


Currently we do not offer any insurance on the products if not delivered, however this is a feature which we are planning to add very soon and when insured, Ship-Pal will cover some cost of the product if not delivered by the traveler.

How do I communicate with my shopper?


Once a product order is found on your route, Ship-Pal will send you notification via email or call. Once you accept the request, Ship-Pal will connect you with the Shopper via a private chat from Ship-Pal platform where you can discuss more.




How do I deliver an order ?


When chatting with the shopper, you can agree on a date, time and place to meet and exchange the product.

Do I need to worry about the products I will be traveling with?


1) Before we connect shoppers with travellers, all the orders placed by shoppers are reviewed and filtered out based on country specific import restriction. 2) We also recommend traveller to check the country specific restrictions before you accept request from shopper. Feel free to contact us if you need any kind of additional information. 3) To make things more safer we strongly recommend ordering products online at traveler's address. Make sure when the product is delivered at your place, it's sealed and not tampered by any third person. In certain cases like documents can be handed over to the traveler. 4) As a traveller you have full rights to open the package and see the content of the deliverer product before you put it in your luggage.




What if shopper doesn't show up or doesn't respond to me once I traveled?


First of all shopper shouldn't do this because you are carrying a product for which the shopper has already paid. Please try to reach the shopper again after some time and schedule a new time and if it doesn't work please contact us and we will help you with it.




Will there be customs/VAT charges on products which is not for my personal use?


We highly recommend to pay customs on the products you are bringing but again this could be mutual discussion between shopper and traveller and Shopper should bear this custom amount. 1) If you are travelling within EU countries then you don't need to pay any VAT/customs. 2) If you are traveling between non-EU and EU countries then there will be VAT/customs on products you are carrying. Customs/VAT amount can be checked in advance from country specific custom calculator. Who will pay the customs/VAT charges ?


The shopper would need to bear the custom/VAT charges although the traveller will pay for customs (if any) which will be later reimbursed by the shopper or it can be discussed with Shopper and taken in advance.




How to collect my incentive amount from Shopper?

When do I get paid as a Traveler?


Usually the traveler is paid after handing over the products to the shopper. At this time he should collect his incentive, product and customs costs (if paid) from the shopper. Also to have some kind of confirmation from the shopper, the traveler can also ask for a small amount to be paid before the delivery is made. This is only to guarantee that the shopper is genuine and to increase trust.




How can I trust the Shopper is genuine?


After getting connected to a shopper and making product purchases for them, you can ask the shopper to transfer to you a small part of the the amount to be paid before the product is handed over to the shopper, this could help build trust and also verify that he shopper has a genuine interest in ordering the product.




How can I become a Premium Traveler with Ship-Pal?


If you are a frequent traveler with Ship-Pal and help deliver multiple shopping request, then you entitled to become a Premium Traveler with Ship-Pal




What are Ship-Pal Premium travelers?


Ship-Pal Premium travelers get priority over normal travelers when it comes to fulfiling order request and hence can earn more money than regular travelers. When you become a Premium traveler with Ship-Pal you get first preference to fulfil order request and also select the orders you would like to chose and hence earn more.




How much can I earn as a Traveler?


Travelers can earn from 5€-100€ or more, depending on the number of orders fulfiled and also on the incentive amounts offered by the shopper. This is a nice way to cover some of your travel costs when traveling.




How do I find a Shopper to help on Ship-Pal ?


Travelers do not need to find shoppers on Ship-Pal. Once you add your trip details then Ship-Pal will try finding you a shopper/shoppers whose order request you can fulfil and so all you need to do is wait till we get in touch with you.




What are the fees charged by Ship-Pal ?

How do I delete my account from Ship-Pal?

Can I cancel a shoppers order if I may wish to not get it?


If you have accepted to bring a shoppers products then you unfortunately cannot cancel that order unless agreed upon with the Shopper.

Can I accept multiple shoppers request ?


Yes, if you are able to get/carry multiple shoppers orders then you definitely can do that. The more orders you accept, the more you earn.
